The herd is bringing in the New Earth. This is what I have been training for, perhaps this is what we are all in training for. Our own creation of the New Earth is happening right now.
bridle
The bridle is one of the fundamental pieces of equipment associated with horses. It is mostly used for riding, as there are usually reins attached to either a mouthpiece or a noseband.
The long and often turbulent history between horses and humans seems to have resulted in the bridle taking on an energy of its own. This may only be past associations, but there does seem to be something more communal.
My herd and I discovered this when we were in wellbeing dialogue associated with the bridle. The bridle took on different properties depending on the layer we were engaging with at the time. It could feel very heavy, or have a hostile energy. In other moments it became friendly and gentle.
We experienced a similar process with the headcollar, and will no doubt explore further with the saddle.
Becoming The Bridle
Becoming the bridle is happening in energetic process. It can only be understood by suspending thought and feeling in. Perhaps not even understood, but embraced. Although the energetic dialogue between the herd and me is so intense, and feels as if it is accelerating in purpose, I have still been struggling with the conflict between being and doing. It feels like the fundamental conflict between spirit and ego.
Physiology And The Bridle
We only had two herd connections this week, yet it feels like we travelled a thousand miles! We explored the wonder of physiology, and the bridle pattern was released. Perhaps there will be more. I am sure that there will be no missed steps or cut corners with the herd…
The Head Collar Ceremony
The Head Collar Ceremony was a powerful cleansing of current pathways of control which opened space for new pathways to form. It came out of that special space of limitless potential which can seem so impossible when you have many routines and expectations. This is often the case for us with our horses, and the reason why it takes time to gently and compassionately disengage ourselves from everything that imposes control over our partnership.
